Bossier Parish Schools has agreed to pay for the cost of either one ACT or one ACT WorkKeys exam for every senior. This is perfect for those seniors looking to improve their ACT score to qualify for TOPS awards or for those looking for an edge as they join the workforce. ALL SENIORS must complete the form linked below as soon as possible to make their selection.

BHS Shooting Sports Interest Meeting Info
An interest meeting for the Spring BHS Shooting Sports Team(Skeet and Trap) will be during flex time on Friday, January 31st. Students who were not able to participate in the fall will be able to participate in the 2025 Spring Trap and Skeet season. Deadline to register is February 8th, 2025. Optimist Club Essay Opportunities

AHEC Summer Programs for 9-11th Grade
AHEC of a Summer is a way for 9th-11th grade students to get a closer look into their local hospital for 3 weeks while earning high school credit. 105 community service hours and 2 year CPR certification provided.
M*A*S*H is a 14 day accelerated college course at BPCC where you can earn 3 college credit hours. Must be 11th/12th grade with a 3.0 GPA and 21 ACT score.
Deadline to apply for these programs is March 1st.
Students interested in applying for either of the AHEC programs can pick up an application from the counselors office or go to www.bnahec.com for more information.

Good afternoon! After a briefing today with the National Weather Service and Bossier Parish emergency agencies, Bossier Schools will be open Thursday, January 9. However, the YEP program will be canceled and all extracurricular and after-school activities will be postponed until a later time.
We will continue to carefully monitor the forecast and provide an update at 4 p.m. Thursday regarding school operations on Friday.
